• March 2008: Los Angeles 2008 Marathon Run/ Autism Fundraiser: Melissa and Jose raised over $1000.00 to support a local charity group, Open Doors/ helping families living with Autism. The Mata’s completed 26.2 miles crossing the finish line hand-in-hand in honor of their son living a happy, full life with Autism.
